Why was ABCS Formed?

Many local pastors saw the need for an association that would uphold the standards and values that were taught in the Word of God and form the pulpits their churches every week.  As a way to fill this need, the Association of Baptist Church Schools (ABCS) was conceived in May, 2013, and birthed in August, 2013.  The ABCS was created with the assistance of Dr. Roger L. Salomon, the retired former Executive Director of the Maryland Association of Christian Schools (MACS) for 28 years.

Since it was formed, the ABCS has provided an avenue for Baptist churches to partner with like-minded churches to allow competition and fellowship for their christian schools.  The association has hosted fine arts and athletic competitions and tournaments, as well as student revivals.
